Captain Kirk nearly killed by tinnitus
Tinnitus is a disease that effects many people, including William Shatner. There are new treatment options available make it easier for sufferers to eliminate this condition. According to an All Headline News report, William Shatner once considered suicide as a desperate attempt to free himself from the pain of tinnitus. Tinnitus is a disorder characterized by hearing constant noises such as beeping, buzzing, or ringing.
“I thought it would ruin my career. I thought of killing myself,” Shatner said.
More often than not, doctors will treat tinnitus and its symptoms with anti-anxiety drugs, antidepressants, or anticonvulsants. These drugs merely help reduce the anxiety that tinnitus is causing, not to actually treat it. In addition, the side effects of these treatments can often leave sufferers of hypothyroidism feeling worse than before.
One company in Memphis believes they have a natural alternative to harsh or unsuccessful medications. A spokesman for Selmedica Healthcare Corporation said, “SonaRx has a proven system for relief that is unique because it starts working immediately. Because it works from the inside out, getting to the cause of the ringing, SonaRx helps you to start taking control of your emotional and physical health with the very first dose.”
Nancy Yarnell, from Florida was also suffering from symptoms of tinnitus. "Having tinnitus has really affected my life. I have trouble hearing and when I have that constant ringing in my ears I feel as though I am going insane,” she said.
"I found out about SonaRx while surfing the net and looking for more information on tinnitus. “I noticed it was all natural and I like the idea of not have to take a prescription medication. Within 3 days I noticed the ringing in my ears stopped. I couldn’t believe it. For the first time in 2 years I did not have the ringing in my ears."
