Armed teens steal deaf man's camera
After leaving work Wednesday night, a deaf Dominoes Pizza employee walked to a parking lot to find three Latino males ransacking his car, police said.
About 10:28 p.m., Adan Rodriguez, 21, approached the suspects, who ranged from 15- to 17-years-old. They exited the vehicle, producing a semi-automatic handgun and a pen knife.
The teen with the handgun started to yell at Rodriguez, who could not speak.
The three juveniles ran to a waiting get-away vehicle, described as a late 90s, dark-colored, four-door Honda Civic, and fled northbound on Central Avenue, police said.
Rodriguez chased the suspects in his car, but said he could not keep up due to their erratic driving. He then flagged down the police and told them about the incident.
According to Rodriguez, the suspects took only a digital camera.
