Foxy Brown's Hearing Aid and Items Stolen, Misses Probation
Just hours before she was beaten and robbed by a trio of women, trouble-prone rapper Foxy Brown defied a court order and blew off a meeting with her probation officer. Brown was ordered to appear at the probation office today - and was warned that skipping out again could land her in hot water.
"Failure to do so may seriously affect your probation status," warned a letter tacked to Brown's Brooklyn home yesterday after she missed her Friday appointment with her probation officer.
Brown pleaded guilty in March to a probation violation and faced the possibility of jail.
She caught a break this month when Manhattan Criminal Court Judge Melissa Jackson decided the rapper had reformed and was a model probationer. She had landed in court for getting into a brawl at a Manhattan nail salon in 2004.
Brown was in hiding yesterday as her rep, Chaz Williams of Black Hand Entertainment, denied the singer had been beaten and robbed after breaking up with a pimp boyfriend Saturday morning in East New York, Brooklyn.
Foxy's reps showed off a Rolex watch, a diamond-encrusted ring, an American Express black card and a Louis Vuitton bag - purported proof that the robbery had not taken place.
"We know nothing about any pimps, prostitutes, or boyfriends," Williams said.
But police say Brown was roughed up when the spurned boyfriend called several women friends to beat her up. Brown's hearing aid, purse and $500 in cash were stolen.
