Allstate award of $500 aids Kansas School for the Deaf

Allstate Insurance agent Jeremy Schafer has been was awarded an Agency Hands in the Community award.

With this award comes a $500 donation from The Allstate Foundation to the Kansas School for the Deaf where Schafer volunteers.

“We believe in the value of community outreach and taking an active interest in the communities we serve, said Mike McKinney, field vice president for Allstate’s west central region. “Allstate is proud to support the Kansas School for the Deaf through The Allstate Foundation.”

Schafer was recognized for his outstanding commitment to community service. To qualify for the grant, agents or personal financial representatives must show evidence of volunteer work that has had a positive impact on the local community.
